Cheeks becoming flushed as i try to collect my thoughts,

Forgetting to breathe as You wait in silence.

Digging my knees into the ground,

as i clasp my clammy hands together, tightly, behind my back.

i look to the ground, too afraid to look at You,

Trying to swallow my insecurities, but i choke instead.

i'm feeling so nervous trying to be so perfect,
