The Adventures Of Ted by Patrick

 Ted was your average guy working an average job and having an average life , so I guess you could say he was living a bit of a average life and he him self would most probably tell you that if you asked him. That is till one night when everything changed for him. It was late  and he was at work cause he had nothing to do or no one to go home to . He looked up at the clock saw that it was 10pm where had the time gone.

He stretched and yawned from his chair, thinking to him self well guess it is time to go home, wondering what to have for dinner some ramen noodles or a can of beefaroni either way he wasn't looking forward to it. He got up off his chair headed to his car in the parking garage, it was a beat up Gremlin.

As he tried to start it , it sputtered on the first try , so had to turn the key a second time to get it going. As the car comes to life he mutters to him self "Damn car!"." I got to get me a new one sooner or later." As he is headed home he turns on the radio for some company but the darn thing won't work . he mumbles once again " What else can happen tonight." Little did he know what was about to happen was going to change his life for ever.

He enters the city turns left then right goes a couple blocks and is almost home and wouldn't you know but the damn car dies on him and being as late as it is doesn't see much of anything open. he gives a sigh ,gets out of the car and starts to walk, He comes upon a place that is still open . It just happens to be a bar , he takes a peek inside and see a few people in there and figures well if I have to wait for a tow truck not a bad place to I guess.

He opens the door walks toward the bar and says, "Excuse me please but is there a telephone I could use I seem to need a tow truck , my car broke down and I can't get it started." The bartender looks up a sure here you go and places a phone on the bar.
He dials 411 to get a number for a tow truck, he calls the place talks to the tow truck drive and gives him his name and as the tow truck driver asks him where he is at he looks up at the bartender and asks the name of the place at which time the bartender replies ," Well your in the Pussy Venom Club ". and gives the guy the address.

He hangs up the phone thanking the bartender and says "Well it going to be a while so guess I will have a drink."  The bartender says "Sure what will you have ?" with a sly grin on her face. He says "Umm  make a JD neat please." As the bartender pours him drink a Lady approaches him and asks " Say your new here aren't you ?" Ted looks up and says "Oh hello and yes I am."

As he is being  distracted by the Lady talking to him  the bartender pours a little something extra in his drink and slides it over to him. He picks it up and takes a swig, as he does he takes a look around the room and notices he is the only guy in the place, He thinks to him self well perhaps my night is looking up . he asks for another drink as he continues to talk to the Lady letting her know that his car needed a tow and was waiting for the tow truck driver.

The Lady talking to him looks toward the bartender and gives her a knowing wink, as she does the bartender adds a little something extra to that drink as well . Ted sees none of this as he is talking to the Lady. He downs the second drink and starts to feel a bit funny, he gets up out of his chair and tries to walk but can't and falls on the ground and passes out. As he comes to he hears voices.....
